On the evening of July 26, West Taihu Lake in Changzhou buzzed with excitement as the "Twin Lakes" Opening Gala kicked off on the lawns of the West Taihu Lake International Camping Island. The event featured trendy brands and surprises for attendees. Visitors sported eco-friendly Yingzhuo Environmental Protection backpacks, colorful JOYCORN rain boots for river tracing, and savored freshly grilled American burgers. Paddleboards and yachts added to the lively scene. The night market, with 12 stores mainly from Xinghuhui No. 1 Store and Xinghu Street, thrived amidst the festivities.
Several new stores announced their entry into West Taihu Lake during the event. McDonald's and Jingxiaoyao Hotpot will open in Jintong International Smart Valley; Pizza Hut is set to open in Xinghuhui No. 1 Store; and Wenpu Hotel will manage the West Taihu Lake Science and Technology Exchange Center, boosting the city's infrastructure and quality of life.
The gala also marked the launch of Xinghuhui No. 3 Store. Building on the success of its No. 1 and No. 2 Stores, the new location aims to enhance the 3-km community life circles for youth and attract more young talent. Known as Daoxiang Market, the No. 3 Store plans to invest over 10 million yuan to upgrade lakeside food stalls, creating a trendy day-and-night market to entice young people to the area.
